The event was designed to bring the truth to the world community about what was going on in Donbass and to tell about the children who died as a result of the armed aggression of Ukraine.
On the central square of Hamburg in front of the city hall, people from different parts of Germany (Cologne, Düren, Gummersbach, Osnabrück, Hannover, and many other cities) gathered together, including many representatives of public organizations and movements concerned with Donbass.
The event began with a song "Children of War", after which everyone could express their sorrow by laying flowers at the Alley of Angels with photos of Donbass children killed by Ukrainian armed formations shelling. Participants also tied mourning ribbons on the "Trees of Memory" and lit candles of memory.
