Boris Gryzlov, Chairman of the High Council of United Russia Party, sent a congratulatory address to the LPR residents for the Day of the Lugansk People's Republic.
The address highlighted that the position taken by the people of the Republic in 2014, aimed at protecting their rights, dignity, native language and historical memory, gained wide support in the Russian Federation.
Boris Vyacheslavovich highlighted that Ukrainian aggression has already been repelled, and expressed confidence that despite the West's campaign to spread lies and misinformation about what is happening in Donbass and attempts to gloss over the crimes of Ukrainian punishers, the Lugansk People's Republic and its residents will emerge victorious in their fight for freedom and independence.
“The truth is stronger than lies. And the truth is on the DPR and LPR people’s side, the defenders of the DPR and LPR, the defenders of Russia!”, Gryzlov emphasized.
