First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR Anna Soroka was interviewed by German journalist Alina Lipp. At the end of the interview, the journalist shared her impressions of her experience in Donbass and said that Russophobia in the West emerged neither today, nor even eight years ago, but was cultivated in Germans long before 2014.
"I was in Donbass last year and saw with my own eyes what was going – civilians are being killed down here... In Germany they do not tell people about this. I was shocked, so I stayed here and started telling everything I saw.
I interview civilians, ask what they think. For example, in Mariupol, if they say in Germany that Russia killed everyone, the locals who saw it all answer: "It was the Ukrainians!"...
In the FRG, as well as in Ukraine, they had been brainwashed for about 15 years, even before 2014. All critical programs disappeared. Russia was constantly put in a bad light, nothing positive about Russia. In other words, Germans were inculcated with hatred towards Russians.
