Officials from the Lugansk People's Republic are taking part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, being held June 15-18 in St. Petersburg.

The SPIEF participants are to discuss the prospects of global and Russian economy, social issues, development of technologies and human potential. Authorities and business representatives from 127 countries, including representatives of the Lugansk People's Republic – the Head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR Vladislav Deynego are participating in the forum.
