Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov personally congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR Vladislav Deynego on the Day of the Lugansk People's Republic.
The message notes that Russia firmly sided with the people of the LPR, who in 2014 did not accept the outlying orders imposed on them by force of arms, aimed at introducing rabid nationalism, distortion of cultural and linguistic identity, and forcible severance of ties with the Russian people.
“Today, we are fighting together with the Lugansk people standing united to defend and strengthen the gains achieved and reliably ensure a peaceful and secure future for the Lugansk People's Republic,” the Russian Foreign Minister stressed.
Sergey Viktorovich wished success in the struggle for freedom and independence of the LPR, creative work for the benefit of Donbass and strengthening of close friendship relations between the Lugansk People's Republic and the Russian Federation.
