The OSCE announced initiated steps to close the Ukrainian project coordinator's office
2 July 2022
The OSCE announced initiated steps to close the Ukrainian project coordinator's office.
After three months following the termination of the OSCE SMM mandate, the organization has completely ceased its activities in Ukraine.
On 1 July, the 23-year period of the OSCE presence in Ukraine came to an unglorious end.
This is particularly evident in the last eight years, the period of the OSCE SMM presence in Ukraine, while successfully imitating facilitation of the conflict resolution in Donbass, actively conducted propaganda activities aimed at supporting the criminal neo-Nazi Ukrainian regime. And despite the coordinator's occasional close-to-objectivity statements or theses in the SMM reports, the entire activity of the mission was aimed at distorting the essence of events and misleading the international society.
