The square in front of the British Embassy in Moscow was officially named "Square of the Lugansk People's Republic"
The monument to Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in Moscow has a new address. So does the British Embassy, near which it is located:
Lugansk People's Republic Square, premises 1.
This decision was made by Moscow mayor after a public opinion survey in which 57 percent supported the proposal to name the previously unnamed square in front of the British Embassy after the Lugansk People's Republic.
Symbolically, this occurred almost immediately after the complete liberation of the LPR territory from Ukrainian armed formations.
Such a bright gesture of support from brotherly Russia was gratefully received and approvingly welcomed by the LPR residents.
Henceforth the new address of the British Embassy on each envelope of incoming and outgoing correspondence will be an eternal reminder to the authorities of the United Kingdom about their direct involvement in the crimes of Ukraine in Donbass and about the proud young Republic overcoming all obstacles with honor in its striving for unity with the Russian World.
