The Roscosmos State Corporation and Russian cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev, and Sergey Korsakov have congratulated the Lugansk People's Republic on the complete liberation of its territory from Ukrainian armed formations and have unfolded the flag of the Republic on the ISS in honor of this event:

"The entire territory of the Lugansk People's Republic has been liberated. Russian and Lugansk forces have taken complete control of Lisichansk, the last major city in the LPR!

Roscosmos and our cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev, and Sergei Korsakov working today on the International Space Station join LPR head Leonid Pasechnik in congratulating on the "new Great Victory Day."

This is the long-expected day that residents of the occupied Lugansk region areas have been waiting eight years for. We are sure that July 3, 2022 will always live in history of the Republic.
