The Ukrainian authorities requested a corridor for the evacuation of civilian hostages from the territory of Severodonetsk Azot plant, controlled by Ukrainian militants, to a territory under Kiev's control.
Anticipating such attempts, the command of the Ukrainian military units locally took measures not to lose their "human shield": they exploded the last bridge that could be used to move from Severodonetsk to Lysychansk and further to escape from the encirclement.
Thus, the only real route for evacuating the civilian population is to the north, in the direction of Svatovo, the LPR (and further to Russia, if they want).
We are ready to provide this opportunity and guarantee the safe exit of civilians. But the question remains – whether Ukrainian fighters are ready to let them out...?
