Today, 2 June, a memorial event was held in Lugansk to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the Ukrainian armed formations' airstrike on the center of Lugansk.
The Head of the Lugansk People's Republic Leonid Pasechnik, deputies of the LPR People's Council, representatives of ministries and other government institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the LPR, and other concerned citizens of the Republic attended the event.
Those present observed a minute of silence and laid flowers at the monument "Victims of the Ukrainian armed forces' airstrike" in memory of the dead as a result of the cynical attack, which had no military purpose and was aimed exclusively at intimidating the civilians of Lugansk.
