The procedure for entry and stay of foreign citizens and stateless persons on the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic
There is a visa-free regime at the Russian-LPR border.
When crossing the state border of the LPR, a foreign citizen must present a valid foreign passport. A foreign citizen or a stateless person entering the territory of the LPR is obliged to obtain and fill out a migration card, which is kept by a foreign citizen during his/her temporary stay in the Lugansk People's Republic and must be handed in (returned) at the LPR border checkpoint when a foreign citizen leaves the LPR.
The period of temporary stay of a foreign citizen in the Lugansk People's Republic may not exceed 90 days within 180 days. The period of temporary stay of a foreign citizen may be extended.
Foreign citizens staying on the territory of the LPR are required to have a valid identity document and a migration card, other documents that prove the legality of their stay on the territory of the LPR and present them at the request of the LPR internal affairs bodies’ officials the and state security bodies of the LPR.
Citizens of the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People's Republic may enter using either internal passports or foreign passports. This category of persons do not fill out a migration card and their stay on LPR territory is not limited.
